So, this is the faceplate. It is smart to buy just the base drive because it's cheaper. Some suppliers charge more if they include the faceplate. If you think the faceplate is still in good condition, you can still use it. Just remove it and attach it to the replacement drive. This particular drive is only for demo purposes, it's a bad drive.
